Telangana gets its new emblem-logo

India’s 29th state, Telangana gets its emblem-logo finally approved by Central government with minor changes.

The logo embraces the cultural mixture of the Kakatiyas and the Charminar with incorporating the Ashoka Chakra.

The Changes are:

In the previous logo Satya meva Jayathe is placed outside the circle, where as in new logo it is moved to inside the circle, and the outside circle color is changed to gold color, and also the charminar logo came with 4 minars to visible instead of 3 minars in the previous logo.

The emblem was designed by noted artist from Telangana, Laxman Aelay.

Chaya Someswara Temple – Nalgonda

Sri Chaya Someswara temple was very famous in Kakatiya dynasty and it was built in 11^th and 12^th centuries. The Temple is known for there being an everlasting shadow on the presiding god of the lord Shiva’s Linga in the main temple at any time of the day.

Sri Chaya Someswara temple is located in Pangal, Nalgonda district, Telangana, India.

In Pangal 2 famous shiva temples are Chaya Someswara Temple and Pachala Someswara Temple. Pangal was an important religious place during kakatiya’s period and Kakatiya’s greatest king Pratap Rudra on Pachala Someswera temple supports the claim that, these temples were erected for the greater glory of the Kakatiya ruler’s favorite god, Shiva.

Sri Chaya Someswara swamy temple derived its name from the mystifying shadow (Chaya), the temple is engineered by Kunduru Cholas and it is accepted as Thrikutalayam(3 Garbhagudis), hence it testifies the wonderful creative thinking and talent of its architects.

The temple is having 3 Garbhagudis, in which the main temple of the thrikutalaayam is located in west and facing east contains a continuing shadow in the type of one pillar from dawn to crepuscule (Throughout the day).

The Mystery was cracked by a Local College Physics lecturer. The architect designed in such a way that the light that enters the temple deflect the four pillars that are precisely placed in front of the Garbagudi, and forming a thick shadow.

Ramappa temple (gudi) is one of the famous temple in Telangana, and is also known as Ramalingeswara temple, it lies in a valley at palampet village of Venkatapur Mandal, Waragal District, Telangana. Ramalingeswara, is the form if Shiva and a personal god of the Avatar of Vishnu, Rama.

The Ramappa temple is the only temple in the world named after its sculptor as Ramappa, before it was called as Shivalaya.

The roof of the temple is built with bricks, which are so light that they are able to float on water.

There was a major earthquake during the 17^th century which caused some damage and the main entrance gate of the temple is ruined.

The tremendous Nandi with in, facing the shrine of Shiva, remains in good condition, In most of the Shiva temples the Nandi  was straight to deity but in the temples bulity by Kakatiyas the Nandi is in an alert and waiting for the order of lord Shiva.

The Ramappa temple built area is 5 acres, and 20 acres of land was developed by the greenery around the temple.
