<p>Ramappa temple (gudi) is one of the famous temple in <a href="/">Telangana</a>, and is also known as Ramalingeswara temple, it lies in a valley at palampet village of Venkatapur Mandal, Waragal District, Telangana. Ramalingeswara, is the form if Shiva and a personal god of the Avatar of Vishnu, Rama.</p>
<p>The <a href="/ramappa-temple-warangal/">Ramappa temple</a> is the only temple in the world named after its sculptor as Ramappa, before it was called as Shivalaya.</p>
<p>The roof of the temple is built with bricks, which are so light that they are able to float on water.</p>
<p>There was a major earthquake during the 17<sup>th</sup> century which caused some damage and the main entrance gate of the temple is ruined.</p>
<p>The tremendous Nandi with in, facing the shrine of Shiva, remains in good condition, In most of the Shiva temples the Nandi  was straight to deity but in the temples bulity by Kakatiyas the Nandi is in an alert and waiting for the order of lord Shiva.</p>
<p>The <a href="/ramappa-temple-warangal/">Ramappa temple</a> built area is 5 acres, and 20 acres of land was developed by the greenery around the temple.</p>

<p>Laknavaram Lake is one of the famous tourist place in Telangana State, the lake lies within Laknavaram village in Govindaraopet Mandal and it is much closer to another Mandal called Mulugu, Warangal. The Laknavaram Lake is beautifully wrapped up with miniature islands, thick forest trees with hills, coiled all round and it is spread over some 10,000 acres acts as a water reservoir too.</p>

<p>Vaaggeyakara Mahotsavams are being celebrated every year to remember Bhakta Ramadasa, a vaaggeyakara and an ardent devotee of Sri Rama. Vaggeyakaara mahotsavams are being celebrated during Mukkoti Ekadasi by inviting renowned musicians.</p>
<p><b> Sri Rama Navami Brahmotsavams</b></p>
<p>The most populat festival – Sri Rama Navami is being celebrated on every Chaitra Shuddha Navami on the auspicious Punarvasu – Janma Nakshatra of Lord Sri Rama.</p>
<p>The Kalyanamahotsavam of Sri Rama with his consort Sita is celebrated on this holy occasion which falls in the month of March or April. 2. Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Temple<br />
3. Lord Shanishwara Temple<br />
4. Lord Shiva Temple</p>
<p>For Lord Shani Special pooja will be performed on every Shani Trayodashi which comes on the Saturday. The poojas for Lord Shani were starts at 5 a.m. in the morning with Ganapathi pooja and Japam. Homam will be performed with Tarpana to Lord Sheni. The Homam for Lord Sheni will be completed at 12:00 noon with Poornahuthi, Arathi and etc., this is a very big event for this Vargal temple which attract 1000&#8242;s of devotees from all over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other places from India.</p>
<p>Vargal Saraswathi temple has a big dining hall which serves 100 people at a time, everyday 100 people were given free food.</p>
<p>Some special pujas are performed at Vargal Saraswathi temple are Chandi Homam which is a special event here.</p>
