Laknavaram Lake is one of the famous tourist place in Telangana State, the lake lies within Laknavaram village in Govindaraopet Mandal and it is much closer to another Mandal called Mulugu, Warangal. The Laknavaram Lake is beautifully wrapped up with miniature islands, thick forest trees with hills, coiled all round and it is spread over some 10,000 acres acts as a water reservoir too.

This famous Laknavaram Lake was discovered by Kakatiya dynasty.
